INDIAN BEER - view from the Grand Safari
We opted for Grand Safari (includes Lion,Tiger,Beer,Dear safari as well as includes Zoo Visit charges) .As it was a holiday the charges were as follows :
Adult - Rs.120/-(per head)
Senior Citizen - Rs.80/-(per head)
Camera-Rs.20/-(Digicam)
The safari duration was 1hr,but its better not to talk abt the condition of the safari bus.It makes huge amount of sound and jerks a lot. Here I want to mention that the guide was vry helpful. He was even helping us in capturing appropraite moment of the wildlife and the bus driver was giving a nice time of hault each time we got glimse of any animal.
Next we went to the zoo section. The animals in the zoo section are in horrible condition.I didn't liked the condition in which the animals are kept.
From there we went to the museum. In the museum there we watched documentary on wildlife (Ticket Rs.5/- per head) .

Hi...
I was planning a visit to BNP and came across your blog.
Can you please share the current entry costs to BNP?
What will be the total out-of-pocket cost for a visit and safari?
What about food - is lunch available - is it advisable - what are the costs?
Thanking in advance...
-Rajarshi.
Hello Rajashri,
Thanx for dropping ur comments.
In BNP there is a canteen where u can hv lunch where we had our lunch.
1)Veg Fried Rice cost :Rs.15/- per plate(standard taste-not vry good or vry bad).
2)Pouch of Mango Juice :Rs.15/-
You can also carry ur own lunch pack.
But if u plan to hv lunch outside BNP boundary ,it will definitely hurt ur pocket.
Becoz there coconut water(dub) costed us :Rs.20/- per head.
Thanks for sharing this informative post. The parking area lies near the entrance opposite the zoo. There are several soft drinks vendors near the entry point and kiosks (run by KSTDC) in the zoo precincts. The Herbivore enclosure (housing blackbuck, bison, cheetal and sambar) is located to the right, a few kilometres past the zoo. About 11/2 km from the entry gate, close to the Herbivore enclosure, is the KSTDC run Jungle Lodges Nature Camp, where visitors can take up the lion and tiger safari packages (including night stays) on offer.
